SPONSORSHIPS AND TAREN POINT TOUCH

Taren Point Touch is a not-for-profit organisation and sponsorships are the lifeblood of any association.  We are seeking sponsors that show great commitment, are active in the local community and are looking for organisations and businesses that would like to be associated with a family orientated, successful, forward thinking, community-based club.   

Sponsorships provide Taren Point Touch with the opportunity to undertake several programs, initiatives and capital expenditures that will benefit all members.   Sponsorships also help subsidise player levies which includes the cost of uniforms, entry into gala day competitions, ground and lighting hire, payment of referees and playing equipment to name a few.   By joining our club as a sponsor, you will share with a commitment in providing a pathway for local juniors all the way from the U7s through to representative honours.

• Social media posts on Facebook and Instagram where Taren Point Touch and Sharks Touch Football have approximately 2,500 followers
• Introductory email, social media post and news story on our website with your branding and direct link from the Taren Point Touch website and Facebook Page to your website and/or social media pages

Please note all Sponsorship Packages are for a 24-month commitment.

Sponsorship of our local competitions is a perfect way to gain exposure to our members and their families in our community and across the The Sutherland Shire and St George Area. Sponsorship of our representative teams provides an even greater reach across a Sydney, state-wide and national audience.

In a time where sporting participation is on a decline in many of the major Sports in Australia. Touch Football continues to rise.  Touch football is also unique in that unlike AFL, NRL and Netball, Touch Football has even participation rates from male and female players making it the perfect vehicle to gain exposure of your business and/or product.

For those that seek a representative pathway through Sharks Touch Football, we look for highly competitive and committed players who are prepared to train hard and become long term Taren Point Touch / Sharks Touch Football players. By improving players skill level, we hope to set these players on the pathway so that in the future they can represent our club at the elite level.

Awards

The continued success of Taren Point Touch and Sharks Touch Football has been recognised at NSWTA Blues Awards where our volunteers / players were presented with the following awards:

Taren Point Medal: Awarded to the best senior representative player throughout the Vawdon Cup season. This medal is awarded on a 3-2-1 points system.

Aileen May Cup: Awarded to the best junior female player of the year.

Darren Shelley Cup: Awarded to the best junior male player of the year.

June Maher Cup: Awarded for commitment and volunteers hours spent giving back to Taren Point Touch and Sharks Touch Football.
